Taken in Beirut, Lebanon.
Lebanon is one of the places I have lived in. What a beautiful place.
Whenever something goes wrong in the country, people (mostly my friends) lightheartedly said, “It’s Lebanon, it happens.” The thing is, that’s not okay. I have heard this phrase all throughout my 4 years of living in Beirut. Really sad.
With that being said,
I hope the world becomes a better place for everyone.
Thank you for sharing this. I am a newsphobic person so I had no idea what was happening at all. I heard about France in my Reader but not about Lebanon. It is sad that they need to feel this is normal. I admire their strength and courage while facing such a terrible tragedy.
Thank you for reading my post! So nice of you to leave a comment, too.
I feel that many people did not hear about Lebanon (I think people are starting to, though). And because the majority of the world do not get informed about these things, countries like Lebanon start losing hope.
BUT, their hope has not died yet. The citizens are “living” to their fullest, to make the best out of what they are given in life. They never back down. I really hope that more people are at least aware of such countries.
So I am just happy to see that someone made an effort to read my post. So, thank you.
Thank you again. It is precisely because of blog posts like yours that I’m becoming aware of the issue. I think a calm approach like yours will encourage more people to look around to see where we can offer attention and lend our voices.
Thank you! That means a lot to me!
