Cutting down the National Symbol

Taken in Beirut, Lebanon.

A silhouette of a person about to hit the Lebanese Cedar, with a sharp instrument.

Or, has the silhouette been hitting the Cedar ? Perhaps portraying the issues faced by Lebanon. Something like, “dark, shadowy figures trying to tear down Lebanon, one hack after the other.” And yet, the Cedar still stands.

What do you think?
